| Freeva (Free from Violence and Abuse) is a specialist charity working across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland to support people affected by domestic abuse, rape and sexual violence. Our vision is a society where everyone can live free from violence and abuse, and we deliver this through a combination of direct support, prevention and education.
We provide confidential, trauma-informed services for individuals and families, including helpline support, advocacy, counselling and programmes for children and young people. We also work with individuals who want to change harmful behaviours, helping to break cycles of abuse and build healthier relationships. Through our holistic and compassionate approach, our work empowers survivors, challenges abuse and helps create lasting change. In 2026, Freeva celebrates 20 years of supporting our community. By taking on Run Leicester in aid of Freeva, you’ll be helping us celebrate the impact of the last 20 years while supporting the next 20 years of life-changing work.
