In order to ensure the safety of both runners and the general public a number of road closures will be implemented in certain areas of the city and county at various times during the day.
Residents in any affected areas should have a letter dropped out to your address during the course of August / September informing them of the route and any access restrictions that will be in place in your area. The Leicester Half Marathon & 10K is a 100% not-for-profit event and will raise thousands of pounds for local Leicestershire charities. It is only with the support of local residents, runners, and hundreds of volunteers that we are able to hold the event and we are extremely grateful for your support.
