| Cancer Active Recovery Support (C.A.R.S.) is a cancer support charity based in Leicestershire dedicated to helping patients, their carers and the wider community navigate one of life’s most challenging journeys.
Our mission is to provide compassionate, practical, and emotional support to those affected by cancer, ensuring that no one has to face it alone. From the moment of diagnosis, through treatment and beyond, we offer guidance, reassurance and a listening ear when it is needed most. We support not only those living with cancer, but also the families, friends, and carers who walk alongside them. By creating a strong and understanding community, we help people feel less isolated and more empowered during an incredibly difficult time. All of our services are provided completely free of charge and in community settings, removing financial barriers and ensuring that anyone who needs support can access it without hesitation. We believe in the strength of community, the power of understanding, and the importance of being there when it matters most. Through our work, we strive to bring comfort, hope, and a sense of togetherness to everyone affected by cancer across Leicestershire.
