Freedom4Girls are a UK-registered charity fighting against period poverty. We work to support those who menstruate by challenging the stigmas, taboos and gender inequalities associated with menstruation. We are passionate about normalising conversations about menstruation, challenging the stigmas and myths associated with periods through providing education sessions and workshops that offer a safe space for healthy conversations about periods and women’s health.
We also provide free period products to those in need as well as promoting the use of environmentally and financially sustainable options such as period pants and menstrual cups.
In November last year we also partnered with other women’s health services to launch the Leicester Women’s Wellbeing Hub, a free drop in service for women to share their story and get advice and guidance on many different areas of women’s health and wellbeing.
